Having graduated with an MA(hons) in Management from the University of St Andrews (2012-2016), I briefly worked in London for an analytics and insight firm before heading back to Scotland to join the St Andrews Admissions office. As the need to have a more nuanced strategy in India grew, I came on board as an India specialist based in India and have been a consultant to the university since.
I now represent the university as the Director of the region at India office. I also work as the main contact for the India Alumni network. I recently joined London based Media firm, GBMAG as a Member of the Board of Advisors and a specialist for networking and strategy aiming to increase business in the Indian Market. I also happen to be a member of educational committees in the region with focus on the higher education in the UK.
I was in the 10th grade, about a decade back when I first visited Scotland as part of a golf tour with seven other junior golfers and our coach. We happened to visit the old course and that was when I fell in love with the beautiful Scottish town. A few years later, I got the opportunity to return to Scotland and spend 4 great years in Fife, as a student. Having enjoyed every tradition including the May Dip, raisin Monday and some haggis, I am yet to visit a town like St Andrews. The diversity and community is truly unique and the town embraces you like no other. I have friends from all over the world just a phone call away, the three streets of St Andrews give you memories that will last forever.
Fortunately, I have still managed to visit Scotland and St Andrews every year thus far since graduating, enjoyed 3 sunny days in the Isle of Skye (it does happen) and some comedy at the fringe festival, Scotland truly embraces the world with a warm culture and openness.
