Allow us to introduce our latest dotScot Global Ambassador, Glen Moyer!

“Texan by birth, Scot by ancestry” as Glen likes to describe himself, you may well have met him before through his website and podcasts ‘Under A Tartan Sky‘, which exemplify Glen’s love of Scotland.

Glen Moyer is a veteran broadcast and print journalist who loves Scotland. A commercial balloon pilot, Glen is editor of Ballooning Journal, official publication of the Balloon Federation of America and a public address commentator of hot air balloon events across the USA and in the UK. A self-confessed “Scotaholic,” Moyer shares his passion for Scotland while honouring his Ulster-Scots ancestry as producer and host of his independent podcast, Under The Tartan Sky. It’s the “all things Scottish, from bagpipes to whisky” podcast.

“Texan by birth, Scot by ancestry” has become Glen’s personal mantra since first visiting Scotland in 2014. His personal bespoke tartan was inspired by the Texas and Scottish flags and Moyer was one of the first among the international diaspora to establish a dotScot domain for his blog and podcast. Glen visits Scotland annually on holiday.
